Emails your partners send to their own list
When a partner promotes you to their list, the emails come from them, not you. They need to sound like the partner, stand on their own (most readers see only one or two), and make your offer clearly, without reading like a coupon blast.
What a partner promotion needs
- The partner's voice: their stories, their humor, their sign-off.
- Emails that stand alone: the reader may never see the one before.
- One clear offer, and a deadline only if it's real.
- Your facts, not invented results: real testimonials, real numbers, or none.
The 5-email shape
A partner ran this shape for AlgoCademy: a hook about priorities, the "secret" of people who succeed, a funny take on why people chase the goal, a contrarian email that builds trust, and a last call a few hours later the same day. The structure worked; today we would drop its countdowns and ">>>" links, which read like ads.
How to use it
Write the sequence here with the partner's name as the sender, send it to them, and let them make it theirs. If they mail from their own domain, ask them to send one email to themselves first and look at the tab it lands in.
